Spring Break Programs Spring break at Saint Paul Public Schools is April 5-9. Space is still available at some recreation center locations for full and half day spring break programs. Programs are open to grades 1-5. Half day programs are free and full day programs are $50. Current public health guidelines will be in place.

Closing Soon: Youth Summer Sports Registration

Youth summer sports registration for t-ball, machine pitch, baseball, softball and lacrosse runs through March 31. In partnership with the Minnesota Twins, many levels are offered free of charge. Current public health guidelines will be in place. 

Virtual Open House: Multi-Use Field at Victoria Park  We are advancing design and construction of a multi-use athletic field at Victoria Park in the West 7th neighborhood. Join us for a virtual open house on Tuesday, March 30 at 6:30pm as we share the design and answer questions.

Dock & Paddle Now Open Dock & Paddle at Como Lakeside Pavilion is now open for the season. Stop by for great food, craft beer, wine, indoor seating, and ample outdoor seating with a beautiful view of Como Lake. Current hours are Friday-Sunday, 10am-6pm with additional hours coming in April. Check out their menu for happy hour and daily specials.

Spring Events

Spring is in the air! Celebrate at these upcoming events: 

• Sat, March 27; 11am - 12pm: Bunny Drive Thru @ Langford Park Rec Center (Full - wait list available)
• Sat, March 27; 1 - 3pm: Giant Egg Drive Thru @ McDonough Rec Center (First come, first served)

Additional Highlights

• Golf at Highland National, Phalen, Como and the Highland driving range has resumed. Tee times can be made online. Public health guidelines are in place.
• Great River Water Park is open. Swimming lesson and lifeguard training registrations can be made online, along with reservations for open swim, lap swim, and water aerobics. Public health guidelines will be in place and spaces are limited.
• Outdoor courts and skate parks have reopened for the season. Use our amenities map to find an outdoor court near you. 
• Adult fitness classes have returned to some recreation center locations. Public health guidelines will be in place.
• Virtual gardening classes are available through Ramsey Country Master Gardeners and new spring topics have been added. 
• Space is still available at select sites for youth programs including Rec Check, S'more Fun, Recreation for Preschoolers, and no-school day programs. 
• Reservations are now being accepted for open gym, tot times and pickleball at select recreation centers. Reservations must be made in advance and public health guidelines, including face coverings and physical distancing, will be in place. 
• Adult summer softball registration is now open for new and returning teams. 
• Rice and Arlington batting cages have reopened. Reservations must be made in advance and public health guidelines will be in place.  
• Fitness centers and walking tracks have reopened. Reservations must be made in advance and public health guidelines will be in place.  
• Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is open. Reservations must be made in advance and public health guidelines will be in place. 

• Adaptive Recreation registration for March and April programming is now open. Call 651-793-6561 or 651-793-6634 or visit stpaul.gov/AdaptiveRec for full details, registration information and public health guidelines.

• Free meals are available for Saint Paul families in need.
