Como Park Zoo & Conservatory reopens

Como Zoo and the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory have reopened and are now taking reservations for visitors. Capacities are limited and reservations, face coverings and staying at least one polar bear sized distance away from other guests is required. If you're not ready to visit in person, check out Como Live videos for educational zookeeper and gardener talks.

No-school day programs

Great River Water Park is now open

Great River Water Park has now reopened for water aerobics, open swim, and lap swim. Advance reservations and payments are required and can be made online or by calling 651-642-0650. Swim lessons are expected to return in February. Visit stpaul.gov/GreatRiverWaterPark for full details and public health guidelines.

Ice rink updates

With the warmer weather, snow, and rain, all natural ice rinks are considered closed until colder temperatures return and rink maintenance can resume. Refrigerated rinks at Palace, Phalen and North Dale are open as of January 15, but if conditions worsen they may close as well. Skating on soft ice during warmer temperatures damages the ice and poses a safety risk. We appreciate your patience and look forward to reopening the rinks as soon as the weather allows. Visit stpaul.gov/IceRinks for locations, updates and full details. Public health guidance requires a 12 foot distance between skaters who are not part of the same household. Face coverings are strongly encouraged.
