Rec Check Starts Monday

Our free Rec Check after school program for youth in grades 1-5 kicks off this Monday, September 14! Sites are filling up fast, but some locations still have space available. Staff to participant ratio will be no more than 1:14 and public health guidelines will be in place. Visit the Rec Check webpage for full details and to register online.  

Frogtown Community Center athletic fields

Frogtown Community Center Fields Grand Opening 

Join us on Tuesday, September 22 from 4:30-5:30pm for the grand opening of the all-new amenities outside Frogtown Community Center. All are welcome try out the new artificial turf football/soccer field, basketball court, volleyball court, Kato court, and playground after the ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees are asked to abide by all public health guidelines, including wearing cloth face masks. 

NOTICE: Our 2020 youth basketball registration period is still pending. We are carefully monitoring the current public health guidelines and recommendations and hope to update you with more details soon.  

Fitness in the Park Social Distance edition

Fitness in the Parks Schedule Extended Through September

Fitness in the Parks is extended through September 28, 2020. Participants planning to attend class should adhere to all CDC and State of MN outdoor recreation guidelines. No registration is required and classes are open to all fitness levels. View the schedule to see when you can fit in a few more outdoor workouts this month! 

Temporary Road Closures Reopened

As of Tuesday, September 8, the City of Saint Paul reopened three temporary road closures around Como Regional Park, Phalen Regional Park, and Cherokee Regional Park as scheduled. You can learn more here
