As Minnesota continues the phase-in strategy to reopen our businesses, cultural organizations, and social settings, we are pleased to announce that the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will be opening in a limited capacity beginning June 22, 2020 from 10am to 4pm daily.

The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will be able to welcome up to 250 visitors at a time and advanced reservations are required.  Visitors will not be admitted without an advance reservation.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory has worked tirelessly to design a COVID-19 Safety Plan to prepare for our reopening. At this time, only the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will be open as a one-way walking path beginning at the Japanese Garden gate which is north of the Conservatory’s main entrance. Como Zoo will open at a later, undetermined date as we wait for the dial to turn in Minnesota’s Stay Safe plan.

Important things to know before visiting:

  • Reservations are valid for up to four people. Infants and children need to be included in the reservation. Reservations are only available on Como’s website: https://comozooconservatory.org/
  • Due to physical distancing guidelines, admission is limited each day. Advanced reservations will be taken in the order they are received.
  • Per the Mayor of Saint Paul’s Emergency Executive Order 2020-09, all staff and visitors are required to wear face coverings/masks while on the grounds of Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.
  • Wheelchairs, strollers, and drinking fountains are unavailable at this time. You may bring your own wheelchair, stroller or filled water bottle as needed.
  • Admission is free but you must acquire your timed reservation confirmation from Como's website. A voluntary donation  at the front entrance of $3 for adults and $2 for children is always appreciated.
