Beyond Benchmarking: Using Building Performance Data to Drive Excellence with USGBC
Arc,
a technology platform for scoring performance and global comparison, offers a
straightforward way to measure efficiencies across energy, water, waste,
transportation and human experience activities. During this session, we will
examine how the Arc platform can be used to measure a building’s ongoing
performance and how this data can be used to draw actionable insights and

Preventative Maintenance Improves Efficiency
Scheduled and preventative maintenance can keep your
building’s systems running efficiently, extend equipment life, and help to
avoid unexpected downtime and costly repairs. The District Energy team has
developed a list of recommendations to help keep your heating and cooling
systems running smoothly. These steps can be incorporated into the maintenance
program for your building. For personnel safety and to protect equipment,
maintenance tasks should be performed by qualified and trained individuals.
