DSI Customers,
The 2017 City of Saint Paul Budget includes a 2% increase to all
Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) permit and license fees,
including building permit fees, Fire Certificate of Occupancy fees, and
business licensing fees. These fee
changes are intended to partially cover increases in DSI’s operating expenses
in 2017; including health care, Social Security, Medicare, salaries, worker’s
compensation, etc. With these changes,
DSI will continue to be able to provide the high quality services you’ve come
to expect from our department.
This 2% fee increase will take effect on
all DSI fees currently in ordinance on Saturday February 25, 2017.
