The Mayors of Minnesota will gather once again in Saint Paul to celebrate winter in our capitol city. We will start this year with a reception at the historic Saint Paul City Hall before marching in the Winter Carnival Vulcan Victory Parade.
Mayor Reception Schedule:
3:00 - Meet at City Hall - 15 West Kellogg Boulevard - to party with the Mayors. Food and Beverage Provided.
5:00 - Travel to Lowertown to line up for Saint Paul Winter Carnival Torchlight Parade. Parade Lineup location will be at the Farmers Market, expected to be near the corner of 4th Street East and Wall Street.
5:30 - March to Rice Park in the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Torchlight Parade.
6:30 - Enjoy a night of big events in Downtown Saint Paul

Saturday, February 4 is a very big night in Downtown Saint Paul
Along with our Minnesota Mayors Reception and other Winter Carnival festivities, Saint Paul is hosting the Red Bull Crashed Ice Finals on Saturday, February 4. We have adjusted the schedule for the Minnesota Mayors Reception so that we can get together and take advantage of a full night of exciting events. We encourage you to take advantage of our hotel rate and join us for the entire weekend.

2:00pm: Red Bull Crashed Ice Village opens to the public on West 7th Street
Enjoy outdoor music, food, beverages and snowboard stunts from Afton Alps athletes in two blocks from Walnut Street to Kellogg Blvd. Party runs 2pm-11pm in the street and continues until 1am in the party tents and bars.
5:00pm: Gates open to public for Red Bull Crashed Ice Championships
Make your way up the hill to watch the fast show on ice on the grounds of the Cathedral of Saint Paul
5:30pm: Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade from Lowertown to Rice Park
Vulcanus Rex will use his wily ways to light up the streets of downtown Saint Paul for the Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade presented by Metropolitan State University. The evening parade route starts at 5th and Wacouta, travel westbound down 5th Street to Washington Avenue to 4th Street and end at Saint Peter. After the parade, follow Vulcanus and his Krewe to the steps of the Saint Paul Library across from Rice Park for the ever-dramatic Overthrow of Boreas. The production will be followed by a fantastic fireworks show.
6:30pm: Red Bull Crashed Ice Finals
Winner of the third stop of the Crashed Ice World Championships will be crowend in Saint Paul. Look for local favorite Cameron Naasz to be in the mix
7:00pm: #SQUADGOALS - Home Team Semi Finalsfor MN RollerGirls (doors open at 6pm)
Each of four home teams will put it all the line for a chance to play for the Golden Skate on March 4. In the first bout of the night, the #1 Seed will take on the #4 seed. Next, the #2 Seed will take on the #3 seed. Both winning teams will advance to the Home Team Championships!
7:30pm: Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo
Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo showcases champion cowboys from around the United States competing in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding or bull riding, while the ladies will be vying for the championship title in barrel racing. The popular "Party on the Dirt," featuring country band Parmalee, will take place following Saturday night's rodeo action. K102 contest winners get access to the dirt dance, but all rodeo fans are welcome to stay and enjoy the live entertainment.
7:30pm: Pabst Winter Carnival Music Series in Rice Park: Chase and Ovation
Enjoy live music performed on the Treasure Island Stage. Also, enjoy a red or white wine (and NEW mulled wine) from Cannon River Winery or Summit Beer.
