Youth Basketball Registration Ends Today

Youth basketball registration ends Friday, September 30. Late registrations will be taken if space is available, but space may be limited for certain age groups or recreation centers beyond the official registration period. Register today to secure your spot on the team. For more information, contact a recreation center or visit the youth basketball website.

Tuj Lub

Grand Opening: Duluth & Case Tuj Lub Courts

Mayor Chris Coleman and other state and city leaders will kick off the grand opening of two Tuj Lub courts with a brief program followed by a ribbon cutting and demonstration of the sport by several Tuj Lub players from the community. Tuj Lub (pronounced "too-loo") is a traditional Hmong sport that is popular in Laos and was brought to the United States by Hmong immigrants. Please join us as we celebrate the grand opening of this new amenity.

Join your neighbors for a low-key evening enjoying the cool autumn air around a cozy bonfire.

ExploraTots

Join us on outdoor adventures with your child! We'll venture out on a hike, engage in hands-on activities, and enjoy stories and songs to connect to the natural world. Different themes offered at each ExploraTots class. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Children must be supervised with an accompanying adult. Siblings welcome.

When: Wednesdays, Oct. 12 & 26 and Nov. 9 from 10am-11:30am

Owl Prowl

Parks After Dark: Owl Prowl

Did you know that some owls live right here in the city? At Parks After Dark: Owl Prowl, you will learn how your nocturnal neighbors hunt for prey, digest their food, and communicate with each other. Dissect an owl pellet, learn how to call owls, and go on a hike outside to look for these elusive birds.
