Description of Variance:
Location: 7 Heather Place
Noise Source: David Duddingston and Clayton Halunen have requested a sound level variance in order to present a live band with speakers from 7:00 p.m. until Midnight, with a pre-event sound check from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on August 15, 2015 at 7 Heather Place. The Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI ) recommends the following conditions: 1) Variance will be for a live band with speakers for the hours from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight, with a pre-event sound check from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015. 2) All electronically powered equipment, PA systems, loudspeakers or similar devices used in conjunction with the event must not exceed 85 dBA at 50 feet from the noise source from 7:00 p.m. until Midnight. 3) The applicant shall provide personnel and equipment who will provide sound level monitoring to ensure compliance with the sound level variance conditions. 4) All electronically powered equipment, PA systems, loudspeakers or similar devices shall be turned off no later than Midnight on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
