No Wake Ordinance

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office has lifted the special NO WAKE restrictions previously placed on the following lakes:

  • Lake Koronis
  • Rice Lake
  • Big & North Browns
  • The Chain of Lakes
  • Two Rivers
  • Middle Spunk
  • Clearwater River Shed

Due to the lack of rain over the past 2 weeks the water levels have dropped to acceptable levels on these lakes and the need for restrictions is not present.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office thanks the boating community for their assistance where applicable in helping with the adherence of these restrictions over the summer.
