Le Sauk Township Crash

On March 2, 2024, at approximately 10:54 a.m., the Stearns County Emergency Communications Center received a call from an individual located at a residence in the 1800 block of Riverside Avenue in Le Sauk Township reporting that a vehicle had struck their residence, and the driver was injured.

Stearns County Deputies responded to the incident location, along with the Sartell Police Department. Officers on scene determined that the driver, Gemma Webster, 56 of Sartell, had minor injuries and her passenger, Gemma Blaskowski, 51 of Waite Park was uninjured. Through further investigation deputies learned that Webster was learning to drive and had confused the pedals. She struck a parked vehicle and then the garage of the residence. The Sartell Fire Department assisted with supervising the removal of the vehicle from the garage for structural integrity concerns. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sartell Police Department, Sartell Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance.
