Structure Fire

On June 6, 2021 at approximately 4:43 am, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a residence on fire at the address of 30081 County Road 13 in Lake George Township. This is approximately a ½ mile to the west of the city of Elrosa. The caller reported the entire side of the house was on fire.

Stearns County Deputies arrived on scene and the house was fully engulfed. Deputies spoke with the caller who was identified as Jason Marson Michels, 44. He said he awoke to the house being on fire. Michels was the only one home at the time. Michels was not injured.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Elrosa Fire, Belgrade Fire, Brooten Fire, and Sauk Centre Ambulance responded to the scene. This fire remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
