Grass Fire

On March 21, 2021 at approximately 2:21 a.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call of a grass fire on County Road 151, approximately one mile north of 395th Street in Holding Township. The caller, Nicholas Hellmann, 21, Holdingford, had noticed the fire from his residence. The fire burned approximately one acre of grass and brush before it was extinguished by the Holdingford Fire Dept.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Holdingford Fire Department.
