Stearns County Parks Lake Wobegon Trail Project Update

The project is on schedule - WEATHER PERMITTING - the contractors plan to start paving next week. The Lake Wobegon Trail remains CLOSED until completion. 

Project Schedule (Weather Dependent)

• May 18 - June 5 the Lake Wobegon Trail will be closed from Co Rd. 17 (Fairy Lake Rd in Sauk Centre) east to Sauk River Road. MP117.5 east to MP110 (map)
• May 21 - June 5 the Lake Wobegon Trail will be closed from Barracuda Road (Avon Trail Head (MP90.5) east about 1000 feet. (map)

All dates are approximate and are weather dependent. The trail will be closed to all users. An alternate route option includes using County Road 185.
