Lake Koronis Regional Park in Paynesville

Lake Koronis Regional Park is located five miles southwest of Paynesville on the south shore of Lake Koronis. This 62 acre site is jointly owned by Meeker and Stearns Counties.

On the Meeker side of the road is the Campground.

There are 3 cabins, 27 RV electrical sites and 13 non-electrical tent sites. The sites are private, wooded, and come with a picnic table and fire pit. Water is available within a few feet and the handicap accessible shower house has hot water and flush toilets.

The playground has swings, tether ball, basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and new modern playground for young children.

On the Stearns side of the road is the Park. There is a swimming beach, picnic area, lookout tower, ball field, volleyball, nature trails, playground, and a boat landing.

In addition to the picnic area, there are three picnic shelters that may be reserved for special occasions. 

One Large open-air shelter:

  • Open on 3 sides
  • Electricity, Cold running water
  • Capacity: 100 People
  • Rental fee: $40/day

Two smaller open-air shelters:

  • Open on 4 sides
  • Electricity available
  • Capacity: 50 people
  • Rental fee: $20/day
