Greetings from York County Library!

Since the libraries are closed due to COVID-19, you can take advantage of York County Library's eCard for access to all digital services.  YCL eCards are temporary library card numbers that are available to York County, SC residents.  If you already have a permanent library card, you can use that library card number to access YCL's free digital services.  Your permanent library card or eCard will provide you with free access to ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, TV shows, comics, magazines and more!  You can also access YCL's databases where you can learn a new language, get online tutoring and tutorials, get stock tips and information, and many other great resources all for free with your library card!

An email address is required to be issued an eCard.  You will receive an email from us with your new library eCard number once your card is processed and ready to use.  Applications will be processed within 24 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday.  Once the library reopens, eCard holders may visit a branch with proof of identity and be given a permanent YCL card.

Also, please be sure and check out YCL's updated YouTube channel for virtual programs from your favorite YCL staff members.  View and listen along to storytimes, book readings, and tutorials, find exercise and meditation classes from professional instructors, and more!  New videos will be posted each week, with something for everyone.
