Wildly popular South Carolina based Deas-Guyz performs an upbeat mix of Old Motown, Rhythm and Blues, Pop, Rock, Reggae and Dance beats. Musical selections include Motown sounds of the Temptations, The Drifters, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley classics to the dance sounds of Pharrell Williams and Montell Jordan.
Since their standing, always sold-out Sunday night gig at the nationally-recognized Jazz Corner on Hilton Head Island is postponed, the band is coming together to perform for free and record this concert to benefit Community Foundation of the Lowcountry's COVID-19 response fund. The members of the band all donated their time and talent and 100% of the proceeds collected will go directly to the COVID-19 response fund.

About the Fund The Lowcountry Community COVID-19 Response Fund was established in mid-March by Community Foundation of the Lowcountry with the intent of rapidly deploying funds to frontline nonprofits in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper Counties addressing immediate needs caused by the coronavirus.
The fund has granted out about $330,000 to 22 different nonprofits so far. Most of the grants have gone to organizations addressing basic human need like food and shelter insecurity. More information can be found on the Community Foundation's website at https://cf-lowcountry.org/impact-initiatives/how-were-addressing-the-covid-19-pandemic.
