Renton Art Update: Dragons, Art Meetups, and Ways to Get Involved

Game On! Creativity in Motion

2026 is already buzzing with energy, creativity, and local sports excitement. We’ve been blown away by the response from local and regional artists to the Legacy Square calls for art — it’s exciting to see so much interest in creative opportunities here in Renton.

That playful spirit is popping up across the city, thanks to the Renton Statue Stylists, who dressed the Coulon Park statues in Seahawks gear to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl run — a joyful reminder of how art and community pride can come together in fun, unexpected ways.

It’s shaping up to be a year full of play, creativity, and connection through art. Go Hawks!
