A successful first Renton Artist Studio Tour
A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us for the inaugural Renton Artist Studio Tour! We loved seeing so many community members out exploring creative spaces, meeting local artists, and supporting the arts in Renton.

This first-ever event was a big step in growing community arts engagement—and we’re already looking forward to what’s next!
Renton Art Lounge: Where Creativity Connects
Calling all artists and creative entrepreneurs! Join us on September 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at IKEA for a hands-on watercolor workshop with Truc-Quan from Modern Meliora. This is a free event designed to help you explore new techniques, connect with fellow creatives, and find inspiration to support your artistic journey. All materials are provided—just bring your passion and curiosity! This is a great opportunity to build community and fuel your creative growth.

The Halloween Costume Swap is coming!
Help us collect your clean, gently used costumes and accessories. We’re kicking things off early at the Renton Farmers Market. Look for the Monster at the Kid’s Patch this Tuesday.
Save the date for the Halloween Costume Swap on Saturday, September 27, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Highlands Neighborhood Center, 800 Edmonds Ave. NE.

Co-create night at Luther's Table: Coil basket making with Renton Art Oasis Join Karen from Renton Art Oasis for a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop in coil basket making. Sa Sa Ye Steel Pan Band at Liberty Park Enjoy an energetic outdoor performance by Sa Sa Ye Steel Pan Band, featuring top steel pan musicians from the Pacific Northwest. All ages welcome. Bring a blanket or chair. In the event of rain, the location will move into the Renton Library.

Cozy Crafting with the Renton LGBTQIA+ Community Join us for an evening of tea, crafting, and connection! Materials for a simple project are provided, or feel free to bring your own. All identities are welcome in this relaxed, social space. Refreshments provided by Friends of Renton Libraries.

Outdoor Art Oasis Group Join us for a fun, creative outdoor gathering! Each week meets at a different park—Sept 5 at Windsor Hills Park and Sept 12 at Sunset Neighborhood Park. Whether you want to paint, draw, or just connect with fellow art lovers, all ages and skill levels are welcome. Unleash your creativity and enjoy a relaxing afternoon!
Little Women: The Broadway Musical At Renton Civic Theatre, Friday, September 5 through 21. Experience the heartwarming story of the March sisters—Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy—as they navigate life and love during the Civil War era.
