Renton Municipal Code 5.28 requires employers from mid-sized and large companies to pay workers the minimum wage as established by the Renton Labor Standards. These standards mention the minimum wage rates to be adjusted in July for mid-sized employers to phase in the new minimum wage. Effective July 1, 2025, mid-size employer’s wage rate is subject to increase. For large employers, the current rate remains at $20.90 through December: 

• Large Employers: $20.90
• Mid-Size Employers: July 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025 = $19.90 (previously $18.90)
