Spring Arts Equinox

You're invited...Spring Arts Equinox

Are you a creative entrepreneur, arts supporter, professional or amateur such as a musician, painter, sculptor, writer, dancer or actor?  Or do you simply want to learn more about what's happening with arts and culture in Renton?
The Renton Municipal Arts Commission and Allied Arts of Renton invite you to the Spring Arts Equinox, a free event, to be part of Renton’s growing arts and culture community!  Meet other professional and amateur artists in your field, learn about what’s happening in arts and culture and enjoy a Renton-style Pechu Kecha presentation.   Discover how you can get involved to craft the future of Arts & Culture in Renton.  Tour the Cry Out! Studio where youth learn about music production.   Music, food and fun for all!

Local Artist Tracy Wallschlaeger

The Renton Municipal Arts Commission proudly presents an exhibit by local oil painter Tracy Wallschlaeger. The exhibit will be on display at Carco Theatre through March 30.

SIFF-Renton is coming back to Renton! 

Please mark your calendars for May 18 - 24 and for the SIFF-Renton Opening Night Screening & Gala on Friday, May 18.  All films will be shown at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center with the Gala at the Renton Pavilion Event Center.  SIFF is the longest running, largest and most highly attended film festival that will bring significant benefits to Renton's restaurants, hotels and other businesses.  Ticket information will be available later this Spring at siff.net. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact arts@rentonwa.gov.
