Renton Downtown Utility Improvement Project Update

Downtown Utility Improvement Project Update

Stormwater Utility Work on Shattuck Ave S at 4th Pl

As part of our work to improve underground utilities in the downtown area, we will begin utility work on Shattuck Ave S at S 4th Pl and move north along Shattuck to 2nd St. Work on Shattuck will begin as early as Monday, April 19th and continue through early summer.

This shifts gears from the initial sewer work planned on S 3rd St. Dewatering plans are still being finalized, which is important before beginning deep sewer work.

Shattuck Ave S will be reduced to one lane in both directions between S 4th Pl and 2 3rd St.  Please follow posted signs and directions from flaggers for safe access. We plan to maintain through traffic on Shattuck Ave S.
