Head Outside Black Friday
did you know

More and more consumers are opting not to spend their holiday time in the crowds of Black Friday. After all, Thanksgiving is a holiday rooted in family and gratitude, not consumerism and stuff (though, hopefully, stuff-ing).

This year we challenge you to instead use your holiday time on Black Friday to go outside. Autumn is a wonderful time to go hiking or visit a park, since the foliage is still displaying a range of hues in many areas, and the trails will be less crowded than they were in the summer.

In Renton we are lucky to have a many locations for outdoor recreation. After you feast on Turkey this Thursday, work it off and avoid the shopping lines by visiting one of the City's beautiful parks or trails
