June 15 marks the end of distance learning and concludes our 2019-2020 school year! Thank you for your partnership and support in embarking on distance learning and for, together, adapting to a new learning environment.

CEO End-of-School-Year Message

Report Cards and Diplomas

Fourth quarter report cards will be mailed to families by July 1. Diplomas for graduating seniors will be distributed this summer. Transcripts may also be downloaded from SchoolMax.

Summer Meals Program

Our two-day meal distribution program will end Wednesday, June 17. Beginning June 29 through Aug. 13, PGCPS will operate summer "grab and go" meal sites daily Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at 62 schools, 12 apartment communities, six libraries and five neighborhood sites.

2020-21 School Year Online Registration 

Online registration for the 2020-21 school year is underway. Parents and guardians may register children online following the timetable listed below.

June 1: Early Childhood Programs

June 4: Specialty Programs and Charter Schools

June 8: Transitional Students

July 1: New Students

Virtual Summer Opportunities

Summer Learning Programs

PGCPS Virtual Summer Learning Programs offer students opportunities for acceleration, enrichment, credit recovery, or original credit during the summer. This summer, all programs will be offered virtually and there are no fees to participate.

Parks and Recreation "Summer Clubhouse"

Registration for the Department of Parks and Recreation Summer Clubhouses begins Monday, June 15. Parents and guardians can view the guide here.

Library Summer Reading Program

The Washington Nationals and Prince George's County Memorial Library System have teamed up for an online-only summer reading and engagement program! The virtual “Summer @ Your Library” program will be hosted in English and Spanish for all ages and runs through Aug. 21.

New: Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Meal Benefit

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) is a temporary new benefit to assist families with groceries. Families with children who receive free/reduced-price meals at school will automatically receive the benefit. If your student(s) were not receiving free or reduced-priced school meals before schools closed in March, you may apply here

Prince George's County Modified Phase Two Reopening
