Quick Relaxation Techniques to Add to Your Day

When you spend time in the moment and focus, you may feel less tense. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and breathe deeply. Focus your attention on reciting, out loud or silently, a positive word or phrase (mantra).

For example, try a phrase like “I am enough” or “I have plenty of time and resources”. A key word to try could be “enough” or “plenty”. Repeat the positive affirmation or word to yourself. Start with just a minute or two and notice how you feel.

Be sure to check back next week for more relaxation techniques.
