District 3 Community Meeting on New Schools

Join County Council member Dannielle Glaros, Board of Education Member Joshua Thomas and the PGCPS Capital Programs team on Monday, Oct. 7 at William Wirt Middle School to learn more about new middle schools to be built in Riverdale and Glenridge. The meeting will be held from 6:30-8 p.m.

Board of Education Seeking Members for Ethics Advisory Panel

The Prince George’s County Board of Education is seeking residents to serve a three-year term on its five-member Ethics Advisory Panel. Applicants may not be incumbent Board members, PGCPS employees, elected officials, candidates for elective office or employed by businesses working with PGCPS. Panel members are subject to fingerprinting and a criminal background check before final approval. The Board will issue appointment notifications in November.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25. Submit a letter of interest along with a resumé or other documentation to Board Executive Director Suzann M. King at Suzann.King@pgcps.org or mail to Prince George’s County Board of Education, 14201 School Lane, Room 121, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
