Water Quality Program Updates

PGCPS is continuing to test drinking water sources in schools and offices through January 2018. Non-potable water labels have been placed above valved-off sources that previously tested above U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) action levels and non-drinking water sources, such as sinks in classrooms, bathrooms, custodial closets and work areas.

The final phase of the Water Quality Program will include retesting of all drinking sources currently in use and the installation of filtered water fountains throughout the school system. For more information, visit the PGCPS Water Quality Program webpage.
