Councilperson Bob Charland to Chair Public Hearing on Trash this Wednesday Evening

What: Councilperson Charland will chair a Public Hearing on the State of Trash in Pittsburgh tomorrow evening. Pittsburghers are invited to come speak on the record for up to three minutes on the impact of littering and dumping on their neighborhoods. Additionally, Pittsburghers are invited to share any feedback on how the city is responding to trash issues, and share suggestions on how to prevent litter and keep our neighborhoods clean.

Why: To further the ongoing conversation on trash in neighborhoods by gathering feedback on the  city’s capacity to clean up the filth that continues to accumulate, which is threatening public health and degrading the quality of life of Pittsburghers.

When: Wednesday, July 9 beginning at 6pm.

Where: Online or by phone via Zoom -or- in person in the Council Chamber located on the 5th floor of the City-County Building at 414 Grant Street. Streams live on Facebook and YouTube, published on the City Channel YouTube afterwards.
