TriMet News: Portland Marathon to impact TriMet service Sunday

TriMet riders should plan for some delays and bus detours on Sunday morning, Oct. 6 as the 43rd annual Portland Marathon takes to the streets. The marathon and half-marathon will cross MAX tracks and bus routes as the runs step through southwest, northwest and north Portland. In the past, TriMet has experienced autos stopping in bus lanes and on MAX tracks on 5^th and 6^th avenues in downtown Portland to drop off run participants.
