Weigh in on TriMet's triennial goal for our disadvantaged business enterprise program

Hello TriMet business partner,

TriMet operates a Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) program (49 CFR 26) to assist DBEs on contracts that use U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) funds. Federal regulation 49 CFR 26.7 seeks to ensure non-discrimination in the award and administration of USDOT funded contracts in Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) transit programs and to create equal opportunities for DBEs to compete fairly for USDOT-funded contracts.

We recently created a DBE Goal Calculation documentation and methodology for the FTA-assisted contracts anticipated for award from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2028. This three-year goal calculation was prepared in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26. You can review the full triennial goal methodology report online.

TriMet welcomes your feedback on the triennial goal calculations and our DBE program. Public feedback will be accepted through July 3, 2025.
