🚌 A New Bus Line Launches Sunday 🚌

Bus with "TriMet adds a new bus line" text

Bus service changes start this Sunday, June 1! 🚌

βœ… We’re launching Line 86-148th Ave to connect Lents and the Columbia Corridor via 136th Avenue and 148th Avenue. Line 86 will provide service to Relay Resources in place of Line 87-Airport Way/181st.

βœ… We’re upgrading Line 87 to Frequent Service, with buses arriving every 15 minutes for most of the day, every day. To improve connections, buses will also serve the Parkrose Transit Center.

πŸ›— Elevator Access Update πŸ›—

As part of our continued efforts to improve elevator safety and reliability, the elevators at the NE 60th Ave and NE 82nd Ave MAX stations are now only accessible to riders with a valid fare.

There is no cost to access the elevators, but you'll need to tap a valid form of payment on the black card readers for the elevator doors to open. You can also scan the QR code on a paper bus ticket on the QR code reader underneath the devices to access the elevators.

The elevator card readers work just like the ones we installed at the Hollywood/NE 42nd Ave MAX Station last summer.
