The New Year is almost here!

Ride TriMet buses, MAX or Portland Streetcar free after 8 p.m. tonight! 🎉
MAX Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow Line trains will operate two to three hours later into the service day than usual and arrive at stations every 30 minutes. 🔵 🟢 🟠 🟡
In addition to extended MAX service, we'll also operate our late night/early morning bus service along MAX lines, which we introduced on Aug. 25, 2024. The buses do not run through the night, but they will provide some extra service on New Year’s Eve.

The event is free for the whole family! Delicious food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

🚌 7 Frequent Service lines upgraded with more and expanded service on lines 6, 8, 14, 15, 12, 57, 75 👏 Frequent Service bus lines run every 15 minutes or less most of the day, every day.
⚡️ 24 new e-buses — the largest expansion of our e-bus fleet yet.
🔴 10 more stations served by MAX Red Line. The Better Red project extends Red Line west into Hillsboro to serve 10 more stations and improves schedule reliability for the entire MAX system.
🚨 Launched a 24/7 security center to monitor our system. You can text or call 503-238-7433 to reach our Security Team 24/7.
🧹 Clean Team removed 14,400 pounds of trash off our MAX tracks. Our Clean Team keeps our station areas, vehicles and facilities clean and safe.
🖥️ 127 new digital displays installed. Displays provide real-time information to enhance accessibility and make the system easier to navigate. There are a total of 229 displays!
👀 Type 2 and 3s get a new look.
🚍 400+ bus drivers hired.
