Diesel Mechanics (starting at $41.39/hour)

Mechanics perform and support a wide variety of repair and maintenance services on our buses, including rebuilding, repairing and maintaining engines, transmissions, differentials and gear components. Mechanics also help us keep the interior and exterior of buses in good shape for our riders and drivers.

Plant Maintenance Mechanic (starting at $41.39/hour)

This position performs a variety of skilled maintenance and repair work relating to TriMet facilities and equipment.

Light Rail Vehicle Technician (starting at $41.39/hour)

These technicians perform preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on light rail vehicles, including subsystems and components.

MOW Overhead Power Maintainer (starting at $44.17 per hour)

MOW Signal Maintainer (starting at $42.17 per hour)

Performs skilled work in connection with the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, operation, alteration and repair of the TriMet signal system for light rail vehicle operation.

Substation Maintainer (starting at $44.17 per hour)

Performs skilled work in connection with the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, operation, alteration and repair of the TriMet traction power substations.

Track Maintainer (starting at $42.17 per hour)

Track maintainers perform a variety of maintenance duties relating to track maintenance, inspection, repair and replacement.
