New service changes start this Sunday, Aug. 25
🚌 Bus Service Changes 🚌
Line 25-Glisan/Troutdale Rd
We’re extending service to Reynolds High School and Mt. Hood Community College, with buses coming more often, more hours of the day, every day.
Line 29-Lake/Webster Rd
We’re adding midday service to help the community access the Clackamas County Lake Road Health Center.
Line 34-Linwood/River Rd
This line will be extended to Clackamas Heights via Holcomb Blvd and to Clackamette Cove via Main Street.
Line 76-Hall/Greenburg Rd
This line will be extended to the Oregon City Transit Center via Borland Rd, I-205 and Willamette Falls Dr.
Line 153-Stafford/Salamo 🆕
This new line will provide a new connection between West Linn and Lake Oswego.
Line 154-Willamette/Clackamas Heights
This line will be discontinued with replacement service on Line 34-Linwood/River Rd, Line 76-Hall/Greenburg Rd and the new Line 153-Stafford/Salamo.
We’re launching Line 40-Tacoma/Swan Island to connect Swan Island, Rose Quarter, Downtown Portland and the SE Tacoma St/Johnson Creek MAX Station.
Line 40 will replace lines 85 and 99 and Multnomah County’s weekday evening Swan Island Shuttle.
Line 35-Macadam/Greeley
Line 40 will replace Line 35 via Riverside service to the S Macadam & Sellwood Bridge stops. Riders will be able to transfer between Line 35 and Line 40 at the S Macadam & Nevada stops.
Line 85-Swan Island
This line will be discontinued with replacement service on the new Line 40-Tacoma/Swan Island.
Line 99-Macadam/McLoughlin
This line will be discontinued with replacement service on the new Line 40-Tacoma/Swan Island.
🚆 MAX Red Line Extension 🔴
Happening Wednesday, Aug. 28: Our 10-station extension of the MAX Red Line officially launches! A soft launch of service happens Aug. 25, so you’ll see trains running on the extension before the official opening.
🚊 Late-Night MAX Service 🌚
We’re introducing bus service that will run in place of MAX trains during late-night hours. This will allow for more overnight maintenance projects and fewer multi-day service disruptions to help improve your riding experience.
🚊 Renamed MAX Stations 🚊
The names of three MAX stations will change Aug. 25:
Fair Complex/Hillsboro Airport changes to Hillsboro Airport/Fairgrounds.
Tuality Hospital/SE 8th Ave changes to Hillsboro Health District.
Hollywood/NE 42nd Ave Transit Center changes to Hollywood/NE 42nd Ave.
Schedule Changes
Schedules will be adjusted up to 5 minutes to better serve morning school bell times for the following lines: 39, 44, 45, 51, 55 and 70.
