Service Alert: Extreme Weather Update

Good morning, with temperatures still below freezing and precipitation coming down as freezing rain across much of our service area, TriMet encourages those who can stay home this morning to do so. Most bus lines are operating today; however, some are suspended due to road conditions. All buses are chained and can travel no faster than 25 miles per hour. All MAX lines remain temporarily suspended and are being served by a very limited number of shuttle buses. Shuttle buses are also chained. If you must go out and rely on transit, please plan ahead, check trimet.org/alerts and prepare for the weather conditions before you go. Roads and sidewalks are very slick, and we ask riders to take care and use caution when going to and from stops, stations and transit centers.
