🚌 FX 💚
 We’re happy to announce that our bendy FX buses should be back in service on the FX2-Division line soon! You may continue to see the big green buses running along the route but not picking up riders as our operators get some refresher training.
We pulled our FX buses from service back in November after finding an issue with bolts becoming loose, which led to an industry-wide recall. Nova Bus identified a solution. After several weeks of extensive testing and analysis of it, they’ve installed the fix on our buses.
Thank you for your patience as we worked to get the FX buses back in service safely. 🙌

🚊 The newest MAX train is here! 🚊
 The first of 30 new “Type 6” MAX trains arrived last month! Watch it get unwrapped.
🚧 Improving MAX Red Line 🔴
Recently, we closed a stretch of I-84 to pour concrete for one of the new structures for the "A Better Red" project.
A Better Red will extend MAX Red Line west to serve 10 more stations and improve schedule reliability for the entire MAX system.
🎨 Calling All Artists 🎨
 We invite local artists to submit their qualifications to design a full-color digital image(s) for printing on vinyl to be applied on a bus in recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
This is part of a series of bus wraps celebrating the diversity of our community and highlighting the creativity of local artists. The selected artist will be paid $4,000 for the completed design.
Deadline to apply is 9 a.m. PST, this Friday, January 27, 2023. There is no fee to apply.

 On February 4, we’ll be honoring Rosa Parks and her contributions to the civil rights movement. We will not be collecting fares.
