Rockwood Sunrise at the Rockwood MAX station

In 1997, we committed to incorporating public art into all our construction projects. Since then, our collection has grown to over 250 pieces that enliven our streets and brighten our community.

📅 Division Transit Project 📅

Watch that calendar — we're just six months from the start of TriMet FX service on Division 🎉

New center medians on Division are making the street safer for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

Division Street is getting safer for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers thanks to Division Transit Project. Here are some of the much-needed safety improvements we’re working on with Portland Bureau of Transportation.

🦽 Transit history 🦽

Before the Type 2 MAX cars

Every MAX train contains a major innovation in accessibility that was pioneered right here in Oregon. And you probably walk over it without even realizing it.

Before our Type 2 MAX cars, the only way onto a light rail car was via stairs or a lift like the one pictured above. Learn how we changed that

The Better Red project will extend MAX Red Line to Hillsboro and eliminate bottlenecks near Gateway that affect the reliability of our entire system. We broke ground last fall and the most visible work is currently happening just north of Gateway. Take a look at where things are now.
