Construction for a Better Red begins soon! The project extends the MAX Red Line west to serve 10 more stations and improves schedule reliability for the entire MAX system.
During the week of September 7, crews begin mobilizing into staging areas for utility work in the Gateway area. This includes:
- Closure of the Park & Ride surface lot adjacent to the garage
- Closure of the south end of Gateway Green Park
During the week of September 13, crews begin nighttime construction activity on the east side of northbound I-205 just north of Halsey Street.
