July 2019 — Pride may be over, but a summer of love is just beginning...
All-Electric Bus

We’re lovin’ on the environment with 3 new electric buses that got delivered last week. We now have five of these buses in the house (and by house we mean garage).

🌡️
High Heat Cheat Sheet

We’re adapting to love the heat: MAX Yellow Line just joined Blue and Red in the club of MAX lines that can run at normal speeds up to 100 degrees, instead of 90.

🎉
Portland Picnic Giveaway

We've got a giveaway you'll love: two pairs of Advanced Tasting Packages for Portland Picnic on July 13th. If free wine sounds good to you, click here to enter.

🎨
Rider Profile: Hampton Rodriguez

We love what Portland artist Hampton Rodriguez said about finding inspiration in transit: “...It’s a thermometer for understanding how the city is visually changing.”

🔺
Bus Only Lanes

We’ve got mad love for City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly's plan to create miles of bus-only lanes around the city.

Extra extra:

📰 News: The Skidmore MAX Station is not closing this year, we passed an annual budget that will expand several bus lines, and we're working with PBOT to get more dedicated bus lanes, like, everywhere.
🚗 We love seeing private companies like Waze doing their part to take cars off the road across the country.
📢 Metro put out a survey asking your thoughts about a future tunnel under the Willamette. We know you have opinions!
