Good news, Rider!
The E 122nd Ave MAX Station is about to get a whole new look.
We'll be making some big improvements over the next six months, including:
- Installing larger windscreens and new shelter roofs
- Adding new signs and real-time arrival displays
- Updating the lighting and security cameras
- Replacing the tactile warning strips
- Painting and deep cleaning
Work is scheduled to begin December 3 and is expected to last until June 2018. The station will remain open during construction, with riders boarding via temporary wooden platforms in the left-turn lanes on Burnside.
