Greetings, Hop Beta Tester!
Thanks for agreeing to help us test the new Hop Fastpass mobile app — we’re excited to hear what you think! The app will make it easy to add money to your Hop card, manage your account and set up Auto-Load so you’re never stuck without fare.
Your Hop card is on the way and will arrive in about 3 days. In the meantime, you can get started by downloading and installing the app using the instructions below.
After the app is installed and you have your card, create an account and register your card. Now you can take advantage of benefits like Auto-Load and lost-card protection, so you don’t lose your balance if your card goes missing.
Installing the app on iOS devices
We’ll be emailing you an App Store invitation to test the Hop Fastpass app using TestFlight.
(If the Apple ID you use on your iPhone is not the same as the email address you provided us, send a note to help@myhopcard.com and we’ll update our records. You can find your Apple ID by going to Settings and tapping on iTunes & App Store.)
Once you get the email:
-
Go to the App Store and download the free TestFlight app (you’ll need this before you can do anything else)
-
Open the TestFlight email invitation on your device
-
Click the Open in TestFlight button in the email and enter the code if prompted
-
Install the app
You’ll see the Hop app now with an orange dot next to its name. This indicates you now have a beta version on your phone.
If you’re not logged in, please log in to your Hop account. (If you’re already logged in, you’ll just remain logged in and can get to using it right away.)
