We’ve begun the beta test for Hop Fastpass, our new transit fare card. Since you’ve expressed interest in participating, you’ll find the link to the application survey below.
You must complete this survey in order to be considered for the test. If you have already filled out the survey, thank you — we will contact you if you’re selected.
Over the next few months, we’ll be counting on our growing pool of beta
testers to give us feedback on what’s working and what could be improved.
As a tester, you'll receive a Hop card to use, register and
reload, and some testers will be also be given access to the Hop smartphone app. Beta testers will be loading their own money on the card — keep
this in mind if you want to participate but you already have an annual
pass or if you receive a pass from work or school.
Testers will tap their Hop card every time they board a bus or train and report
any issues they encounter along the way. They'll also be asked to share their opinions about Hop in a survey.
Unfortunately, not everyone who applies will be chosen. But please note we’ll be adding new testers every couple weeks until Hop’s public release
this summer, and we’ll do our best to include everyone.
