Your Hop card is on the way!

Hop

Greetings, Hop Beta Tester!

Your new Hop card is on the way, and we can’t wait to hear what you think — thanks again for your help. Before you start tapping, we want to pass on a couple of helpful hints to make your testing experience smoother:

We recommend registering your card in order to get the most out of Hop. Registered users can easily manage their account and take advantage of benefits like lost-card protection and Auto-Load. (Since you’re a super-special beta tester, you’ll need to go to beta.myhopcard.com to register, even though your card has myhopcard.com printed on it.)

You can load money on your card at beta.myhopcard.com, by phone (1-844-MYHOPCARD), or by visiting a retailer in the Hop network. When Hop officially launches this summer, you’ll be able to get a card or load money at more than 500 stores; for now, you’ll find a list of locations participating in the beta test on the website.

Note: You’ll need to visit the customer service counter to load money at Safeway or Fred Meyer. If the cashier needs help with Hop (remember, it’s new for them, too!), ask them to load your card as a Western Union prepaid card transaction.

Remember, if you encounter any issues while testing Hop, we want to know. Send us a note at help@myhopcard.com or give us a call at 1-844-MYHOPCARD. Happy tapping!
