News About Municipal Audits in Oregon
As we enter the last month of the fiscal year we're gearing up for the annual audit cycle. In our office we have a few things brewing I wanted to make you aware of.
ONLINE FILING
As requested, you can now file your annual report online. You'll upload your audit or review as a PDF and have the option to also upload a Plan of Action, if applicable. Once the report is submitted you'll have the ability to complete the Summary of Revenues and Expenditures form and pay the filing fee.
We hope you find these improvements helpful and the process easier.
REVISED WEBSITE
The website has been refreshed. If you haven't visited the site in a while you may notice some things have moved. All the information, forms, FAQs and resource links are still there and we hope the cleaner look makes things easier to find.
I encourage everyone to visit the site to see what resources and information are available. Call me with any questions or feedback.
RECRUITING A PROGRAM LEAD
We will soon be recruiting for a Municipal Audit Program Lead to join the team. The person hired will have experience performing governmental financial statement audits and will be well equipped to assist with managing the day-to-day aspects of the program. They will work closely with me to improve our processes and the way we communicate with the community, and add value through our reviews and resources.
Keep an eye out for the job announcement and pass it along to anyone you think may have an interest and aptitude for partnering in this work…perhaps that’s you!
