Explanatory Statement Committee Meeting Schedule

Additional meeting times have been set for the Explanatory Statement Committee Meetings. See meeting times and dates below in bold. 

The Secretary of State’s Office will hold a public comment meeting on Friday, July 31st from 9 - 11 a.m.

Initiative 34 – Allows manufacture, delivery, administration of psilocybin at supervised, licensed facilities; imposes two-year development period

  • Members: Sam Chapman, Dave Kopilak, Shane Nelson, Kevin Walruff, and Judy Hall
  • Drafting meeting: 1 - 3 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2020
  • Reconsideration meeting: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020

Initiative 44 – Provides statewide addiction/recovery services; marijuana taxes partially finance; reclassifies possession/penalties for specified drugs

  • Members: Anthony Johnson, Kimberly McCullough, Kevin Barton, Jim Ferraris, and Richard Baldwin

Initiative 57 – Amends Constitution: Repeals legislative redistricting process; creates congressional/state redistricting commission; equal number of Democrats, Republicans, others
