Financial Estimate Committee (FEC) Update
The FEC committee met today, July 8, to draft financial estimate statements for all viable ballot measures. The FEC completed its work and has cancelled its July 9 meeting.
The draft statements and a recording of the meeting will be posted on the Secretary of State’s website.
The Secretary of State’s office will hold a hearing to receive public comments on the draft financial impact statements. If a statement receives comments during the public hearing, the FEC must meet to review those comments and consider revisions to the statement.
The public hearing will take place July 31, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. where we will receive public comment by phone using the call-in number and access code below:

To submit written public comments, email them no later than July 31 at 11 a.m. to elections.sos@oregon.gov. If you need special accommodation to submit comments, please call or email the Elections Division (contact below).
Information and documents relating to the FEC will be shared on the Secretary of State’s website. There, anyone may sign up to receive electronic notifications about the FEC, including upcoming meetings.
