Financial Estimate Committee (FEC) Meeting Schedule

The FEC committee will meet to draft financial estimate statements for all viable ballot measures. Once the statements have been drafted the Secretary of State’s office will schedule hearings to receive public comments on the draft financial impact statements. If a statement receives comments during the public hearing, the FEC must meet to review those comments and consider revisions to the statement. Interested parties may observe the FEC committee deliberations live via the Oregon State legislative website.

After the meeting video of the meeting will be available on the Secretary of State’s website.

Public Information:

There will not be an opportunity to take public comment at these meetings. However, a public hearing will take place July 31st 9 a.m- 11 a.m. where we will receive public comment remotely. Members of the public are encouraged to submit written public comment on the proposed drafts, which will be made available no later than the end of the day on July 27th. To submit written public comments email them no later than July 31st at 11 a.m. to elections.sos@oregon.gov. Information and documents relating to the FEC will be shared on the Secretary of State’s website. There, anyone may sign up to receive electronic notifications about the FEC, including upcoming meetings.
