Wednesday, 10/10, is Electronic Records Day!
This is an
annual event which focuses on the critical role electronic records play in our
lives, and brings attention to challenges surrounding management, access and
preservation of these crucial resources. Archivists and Records Managers
throughout the country will be doing educational programs and sharing
information via social media for the day.
This year ORMS Administrator Kris
Stenson of the Oregon State Archives will be hosting
a live stream on Facebook at 2:00 pm to give tips and answer questions
from the public. He invites you all to join him for the conversation and to
bring your questions on anything from how you manage records in a database to
whether you should digitize your old family photos.
