Cottrell Road south of Dodge Park:We are aware of the uneven road surface (a dip) on Cottrell Road between Dodge Park Boulevard and Bluff Road. We're working with Multnomah County to repave the road soon. Signs with lights have been added to alert drivers in the interim. Please use caution when driving through this section of the road.
Other work happening the week of August 4
Staff will be at the project work sites during shift hours to perform various tasks. Work hours will be between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Filtration facility site activities include:

Off-hauling clean soils to permitted locations using approved haul routes

Delivering equipment and materials to the site

Remobilizing construction equipment
- Installing concrete formwork, piping, and utilities on site
- Ongoing stormwater management and erosion control
- As needed street sweeping
- Ongoing 24/7 site security
Finished water pipeline site activities include:
- Survey work along Altman Road between Pipeline Road and Oxbow Drive
- Remobilizing construction equipment and installing traffic control barriers around work zones on Dodge Park Boulevard
- Clearing, grubbing, and stump removal from public right-of-way along south side of Dodge Park Boulevard
- Ongoing stormwater management and erosion control
Finished water intertie site activities include:
- Remobilizing construction equipment
- Ongoing stormwater management and erosion control
Raw water tunnel/pipeline site activities include:
- Remobilizing construction equipment
- Ongoing stormwater management and erosion control
Bull Run Filtration: neighbor update meeting
The Water Bureau will host an online community meeting to update neighbors on progress for Bull Run Filtration Project construction.

The Bull Run Filtration Project will remove Cryptosporidium and other contaminants from the Bull Run water supply, producing cleaner, safer water for the one million people who use our water now and for future generations. The project is required by the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and must be in operation by September 30, 2027, through a bilateral compliance agreement with the Oregon Health Authority.
