Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committees

Earthquake Ready Burnside Bridge Draft Environmental Impact Statement (6:15)

Multnomah County and City of Portland Project Staff will provide an overview of the project Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) to be released on January 29. The project team will discuss how the committees can most effectively comment on the DEIS and will provide an update on the project active transportation connections.

Addressing Systemic Racism in Transportation (7:15)

PBOT staff will discuss ongoing efforts to discuss the history of systemic racism in transportation. Staff will discuss efforts by PBOT to advance it as an anti-racist organization through proclaimed intent and ongoing action. Staff will provide an overview of the “Pricing Options for Equitable Mobility” project and how the project has been designed to focus on racial equity.
